(Finance) – The regional Transport Department of the Sardinia Region has invited ITA to plan additional flights or, alternatively, use aircraft a greater capacity if the demand for seats exceeds 91% of the daily availability on routes in territorial continuity.
The regional transport councilor of Sardinia, Antonio Morohe called the more critical issues registered on the route between Cagliari and Fiumicinoremembering that the company is obliged to activate additional flights in case of saturation of the offer.
In the month of June and in the first half of July, on the Cagliari-Fiumicino route, on 12 particularly critical days, the additional flight was entered only seven times. On the return leg, on four highly critical days out of 23, no additional flight was planned.
