(Finance) – Saras it returned to profit in the third quarter of the year and in the first nine months. In fact, the company closed the quarter with a reported net result of 54.7 million euros, which compares with a negative result of 35.4 million in the previous year, while comparable net profit which excludes extraordinary components, including the taxation of extra profits of energy companies, is equal to 149.3 million euros compared to a negative figure of 38.8 million in 2021
In the first nine months for the year Saras recorded a reported net profit of 347.2 million euros from the negative figure of 34.9 million in 2021, while comparable profit of the first nine months is equal to 449.7 million euros (it was negative for 109.7 million euros in the same period of 2021).
Reported EBITDA for the nine months amounted to € 1,054.4 million (€ 113.5 million in the first nine months of 2021), while comparable EBITDA stood at 817 million euros (10.6 million euros in the first nine months of 2021).

There Net financial position before IFRS16 it is positive for 268.8 million euros (it was negative for 453 million euros at 31 December
2021), due to the high profitability recorded in the second and third quarters.
