Sarah Sjöström’s dominance just continues – the Swedish swimming queen is completely superior again

Sarah Sjöström continues to line up great results in the World Cup.

The Swedish swimming star Sarah Sjostrom was superior in the 50m freestyle in Athens, Greece, winning in a solid 24.10 seconds.
– I will try to continue doing what I am doing next week as well. I am happy with my performance, says Sjöström in the broadcast on the International Swimming Federation’s World Aquatics YouTube channel.

Has the world record

Sjöström already holds the world record for the distance (23.61 was set in the semi-finals of the WC in Fukuoka, Japan this summer). In fact, the 30-year-old has been dominant in the 50-meter freestyle, where she swam under 24 seconds a total of 27 times.

Sarah Sjöström started the World Cup with two victories last weekend in Berlin. This weekend the swimming stars are in Athens and next weekend there are competitions in Budapest.
