Together with Patrik Sjoberg has Nilsson founded the website Dumpen where they publish chats with men who think they are talking to children but who are actually texting with Nilsson or Sjöberg.

Due to the pre-trial secrecy that prevails, it is not clear exactly what the investigation is about. The police registrar confirms to the newspaper that a preliminary investigation has been launched.

Aftonbladet has previously been able to reveal that Dumpen “fishes for” men by sending nude pictures that can be suspected of depicting children.

– I am very careful not to handle abusive material, so I don’t have to worry about that. An investigation is of course welcome as I have nothing to hide, writes Nilsson in a text message The evening paper.

This preliminary investigation is far from the only one initiated against Dumpen’s publisher. Sara Nilsson is also being sued for gross defamation by a man who was posted on the website.

In November, the police began an investigation regarding the website’s partner Impulskollen, something that, among other things, the lawyer Thomas Bodstrom stated about.

Strong criticism of Dumpen’s approach

After it emerged that several men who had been hanged at Dumpen later took their own lives, very strong criticism was directed at Sara Nilsson’s and Patrik Sjöberg’s website. One of these was Bodström.

In an interview with News24 he says that several hanged men contacted him.

– There is a direct connection between the hangings at Dumpen and the suicides. If you are suspected by the police, you will be detained and then the whole thing will be done legally. It is not even out of the question that the detainee could kill himself, he said then.

Sara Nilsson, for her part, has dismissed the criticism with the justification that Bodström probably has “no idea what we are working with”.
