The Swedish security police Säpo has published a recent situation review, according to which unrest in the world threatens Sweden’s security. It tells about it, among other things SVT (you switch to another service).

Especially the police chief of Säpo Charlotte von Essen highlighted the security threat posed by Russia.

According to the security police’s situation review, unrest all over the world weakens Sweden’s security, and it directed its attention not only to Russia but also to China and Iran.

According to the review, the unrest increases the activities of extremist movements. Violent extremist Islamist and far-right movements continue to pose a threat in Sweden, in addition to which the number of conspiracy theories and anti-government communications has increased.

– The course of development means that the agendas of foreign actors and violent extremists often coincide, von Essen stated.
