The national task force attacked an address in Gothenburg on Tuesday morning, Aftonbladet reports. According to the newspaper, a man suspected of terrorism in another European country was detained.
The security police confirm that some type of operation was carried out in western Sweden.
– This is part of our cooperation with other countries’ security intelligence services, says Fredrik Hultgren-Friberg, press secretary at Säpo, to Aftonbladet.
The person deprived of his liberty is not suspected of a crime in Sweden but has been arrested through a so-called request for legal aid by another country.
