The former Prime Minister excludes the return to the day’s politics in Finland.
LONDON Former Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin says he wanted to become a member of the Finnish Defense Association NATO partly because he was concerned Donald Trump for possible rise in power.

Marin opened her thinking in London at a Brand Finance consulting company on Thursday.
The former Prime Minister said that he did not want Finland to seek NATO membership in a situation where leaders like Trump and Putin make decisions.
– Donald Trump raises his voice in a way that is unprecedented for the free world leader. From the point of view of a small state, it is scary that strong power dictates our future in this way, Marin says.
Marin warned at the event that Russia would not end its attack in Ukraine unless it was stopped.
“I think it will strive for Moldova, the West Balkans and maybe even NATO countries,” Marin estimates.
He reminded that Russia attacks in addition to military activities, including hybrid attacks and breaking the sea cables.
No return to Finnish politics
Marin replied by Brand Finance CEO David Haighin to the question of his future that he will not return to politics for a while, at least in Finland.
– After the Prime Minister, it is difficult to return to another position in Finland. When our government season was over and I decided to give up politics and party leadership, I also wanted to give room for a new leader, Marin said.
He thinks that as a former leader, he would have taken too much attention from the next party leadership.
