(Finance) – Saint Lawrencea luxury yachting operator listed on Euronext STAR Milan, has introduced three new photovoltaic systems at the sites of Ameglia, La Spezia, and Viareggio to reduce CO2 emissions by over 600 tonnes per year, thanks to partnerships with Axpo Energy Solutions Italia.
In detail, the agreement between the two companies saw the construction of three photovoltaic systems, for one total power of 1.5 MW which are added to the 500 kW already present at the Sanlorenzo offices. These are, in particular, the sites of La Spezia, where the production of superyachts takes place, of Ameglia, a municipality in La Spezia where the company’s headquarters are located, and of Viareggio, the historic heart of Italian boating. The group also plans to further increase installed power to 3.1 MW by the end of 2024.
