Iran Air was the last Iranian company to have flights to Europe, notably to France and Germany. It decided to stop all its flights because of European sanctions.
Mahan Air had already suspended its flights to European countries. The European Union adopted these new sanctions by accusing Iran of using its airlines to deliver missiles to Russia. Which Tehran has denied.
Only Flydubai maintained its flights
With these new measures, Iranians will have even more difficulty traveling to Europe. Indeed, almost all foreign airlines have already suspended their flights to Tehran because of the regional situation and the threats of Israeli strikes.
Only Flydubai maintained its flights. Travelers who want to go to Europe are therefore forced to go to a neighboring country, either Turkey, the Emirates or Qatar, to take a flight to Europe.
These new sanctions make the dialogue between Tehran and European countries a little more complicated, already undermined because of Iran’s regional policy, but also its nuclear and ballistic program.
