The design of Samsung’s next wireless headphones has just leaked onto the web. Surprise: these are strongly reminiscent of headphones from Apple and OnePlus.
Samsung knows about information and design leaks. The firm regularly sees its future devices appear on the web before their official announcement or release. Like the next Galaxy Z Fold 6, the design of which was recently leaked online, Samsung’s next headphones seem to have suffered the same fate in recent days.
According to rumors available on various social networks, Samsung is preparing to unveil two new pairs ofwireless earphones. The new Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro headphones, however, have already seen their design leaked on an e-commerce site in South Korea where a copy of Samsung’s next headphones briefly appeared with a bonus case.
Samsung would therefore choose to abandon its traditional minimalist “beans” design which was characteristic of the brand’s headphones for years. The new design of the future Galaxy Buds 3 is reminiscent of that of Apple AirPods or the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 headphones.
The Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro should have several features such as active noise reduction and IP57 protection against dust and splashes. Barring a big surprise, these new headphones should be unveiled this summer alongside the company’s new foldable phones at the upcoming “Galaxy Unpacked” conference.
