Product leaks sometimes happen where you least expect them. For example, on a web page of a manufacturer’s site updated with a little too much enthusiasm. In this case, it’s Samsung, and a page dedicated to Bixby support. The manufacturer mistakenly published an image, since removed, which shows its future Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra tablet in the background.
The image confirms the recent leaks, cited by 91 mobiles, and the German site WinFuture. These leaks mention the presence of a notch on the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra to house two 12-megapixel front cameras, the precise function of which apart from selfies is not yet known.
The high-end tablet would also be equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC with an Adreno 730 GPU, and a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED screen (2960 x 1848 pixels) at 120 Hz. It would ship up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
For photos and videos, it would have a dual rear camera module, with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 6-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module.
The specifications also mention a large 11,200 mAh battery, a fingerprint reader placed under the screen, 5G support, and compatibility with the S-pen stylus. Serious arguments to position itself as a competitor to the iPad Pro, from Apple. From a hardware point of view, anyway.

Samsung is also expected to launch two other new tablets: the Galaxy Tab 8 (11-inch LCD), and the Galaxy Tab 8+ (12.7-inch Super AMOLED). The three models could be announced in early February with the Galaxy S22, during the Galaxy Unpacked event.
