Samsung introduces high capacity 1TB microSD cards

Technology giant Samsung today introduced 1TB microSD cards with improved performance and higher capacity.

Utilizing Samsung’s eighth-generation V-NAND (V8) technology, the PRO Plus and EVO Plus feature enhanced performance and high capacity and are designed as practical solutions for content creators and technology enthusiasts who need fast file transfers and storage in daily use. The increased storage capacity of the PRO Plus and EVO Plus over previous Samsung models offers users the high storage capacity typical of TB capacities commonly found in SSD devices. With 1 TB of storage, users can store more than 400,000 4K UHD videos, each measuring approximately 2.3 MB, or more than 45 console games, each weighing approximately 20 GB. With their increased capacities, the PRO Plus and EVO Plus open up new possibilities in everyday on-the-go devices such as smartphones, action cameras, drones and handheld game consoles. The PRO Plus and EVO Plus offer a variety of storage options, including 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The EVO Plus also has a 64GB option.
