Samsung introduced its 500 Hz OLED gaming monitor and more

South Korea-based technology giant Samsung500 Hz OLED gaming monitor and more to be exhibited at CES 2025 introduced.

Samsung, which announced multiple monitors within the scope of CES 2025, attracted attention especially with the Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) model. The product offers a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels and a full 500 Hz refresh rate on a 27-inch OLED panel. It broke new ground in the OLED category in this regard. It has not yet been announced how much the product, which supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync, will be sold. The Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) model also arrived from Samsung. Introduced as the world’s first 4K OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) is a 27-inch model and comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync support. Odyssey 3D (G90XF) was also included among the CES 2025 announcements. The company’s monitor, which offers a three-dimensional image without glasses, is available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes. Using a 4K OLED panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate in both versions, Samsung performs eye tracking with the cameras in front of the monitors and thus can add depth to the images without any glasses. Equipping the new Smart Monitor M9 model with a 32-inch 4K OLED panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate, the company includes the Tizen OS operating system for independent use in this product. It is not yet announced how much the other models will sell for.
