The Samsung Galaxy S25s should be presented very soon. The firm would have planned a completely new pre-order bonus for the occasion.
The next Samsung Galaxy S25 intends to dominate the phone market in 2025 and even surpass the iPhone 16 Pro Max. According to recent leaks, it would have impressive performance, but also quite surprising pre-order bonuses.
According to the AndroidAuthority site, Samsung has planned artificial intelligence for customers who pre-order the next Samsung Galaxy S25. While we might have expected the firm’s in-house AI, this would not be the case: Samsung would offer a subscription to Gemini Advanced, Google’s artificial intelligence.
Gemini Advanced is one of the latest AI innovations developed by Google, Gemini. This version is much more efficient than its basic model, but locked behind a paid subscription. According to AndroidAuthority, Samsung would offer several months of subscription to Gemini Advanced depending on the model you want:
- Galaxy S25: 3 months of access to Gemini Advanced.
- Galaxy S25+: 6 months of access to Gemini Advanced.
- Galaxy S25 Ultra: 1 year of access to Gemini Advanced.
A concentrate of power
Samsung plans to offer us a phone very powerful, as evidenced by the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Its performance and efficiency will be greatly optimized.
The French leaker OnLeaks also assures that the model will run under Android 15 at launch and that it would be equipped with around 12 GB of RAM. Please note that not all S25 models will benefit from the same internal memory capacity:
- 12 GB of RAM for the 256 GB storage version
- 16 GB of RAM for the 512 GB storage version
- 16 GB of RAM for the 1 TB storage version
Finally, it is very likely that its refresh rate can reach 120 Hz.
A smartphone that loses weight
Several leakers including the renowned Steve Hemmerstoffer have already revealed images of the Samsung Galasy S25 Ultra. The high-end smartphone is revealed against a minimalist and plain background, in dark colors. Faced with the photos stolen by the French serial leaker, the most observant will have noticed notable similarities with Samsung’s major competitor, iPhone. With its flat edge edges, the model is similar to the latest iPhone 16, even if the angular corners create a certain contrast.
The leaks also suggest that the front camera will take up very little space on the screen. Only a small black dot will disturb the top of the smartphone screen.
Lighter, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could well lose 13g compared to its predecessor, the S24 Ultraor display a weight of 219g. This slight melting can be explained by the reduction in the size of the phone, which should measure 162.3 x 79.0 x 8.6 mm (unlike the S24 Ultra which measured 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm).
An unchanged camera
If the Galaxy S25 seems rather different from its predecessor in several respects, the camera remains mostly similar. Rumors predict three rear cameras (five for the Galaxy S25 Ultra), arranged on a column, like the S24. Both models also have an identical main camera, with a definition of 200 MP and an optical zoom capacity of up to 3x and 5x. The only difference: the ultra-wide-angle camera, which will have a 50MP ISOCELL JN3 sensor.
Prices that will surprise no one
The different Galaxy S25 models, which regularly generate new rumors, would be sold at prices identical to the previous generation. Prices would be around €1,000 for the entire collection, although these could differ depending on the different regions of the world.
- Galaxy S25 128 GB: €899
- Galaxy S25256 GB: €959
- Galaxy S25+ 256 GB: €1149
- Galaxy S25+ 512 GB: €1269
- Galaxy S25 Ultra 256 GB: €1449
- Galaxy S25 Ultra 512 GB: €1569
- Galaxy S25 Ultra 1TB: €1809
A very close release date
This information, mainly revealed by the serial leaker OnLeaks, must be considered with caution. Such revelations distributed to the general public remain more or less uncertain, even more so when leakers contradict each other.
Ice Universe, another reputable leaker, who has published other renders of the upcoming Galaxy S25, claims that the OnLeaks images contain errors. The disagreements between the two leakers mainly concern the metal frame, the frame and the design of the camera module.
What we know for now is that the Samsung Galaxy S25 would arrive with Android 15, and that it should benefit from 7 years of major updates and security patches.
While waiting to know if the revelations are indeed well-founded, we just have to wait until January 22, the date on which Samsung will officially unveil the advantages of its future phone.
