How many Samsung Galaxy A are there?

After its official conference, Samsung unveiled two smartphones different for its new range of inexpensive phones. We are talking in particular about the Samsung Galaxy A33, and the A53. Its latest stand out from each other through several characteristics that will be unique to them. Although more products may still be announced in the coming weeks (including an A13 and an A73), the firm is currently sticking to its new A33 and A53.

What are the specs of the Samsung Galaxy A33?

First of the series to be presented, the Samsung Galaxy A33 has several nice components. The Galaxy A33 is notably equipped with a 6.4 “Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. In terms of autonomy, we are talking about an average of a day and a half, with the possibility of up to two full days depending on your usage.Samsung also confirms that the Galaxy A33 is compatible with 25W fast charging.

On the power side, the Samsung Galaxy A33 is equipped with the Exynos 1280 house processor, and 6 GB of RAM. It is interesting to note that this chip is compatible with 5G communication networks (as long as you have an associated package).

For its photo part, the Samsung Galaxy A33 has four sensors: a main 48 Mpx, an ultra wide angle, a portrait sensor and a macro for very close shots. Its four sensors are also accompanied by a 32MP selfie camera.

What are the specs of the Samsung Galaxy A53?

The Samsung Galaxy A53 is placed a bit above the A33. In particular, it has a 6.5 “Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz (compared to only 90 for the A33).

For autonomy, the Samsung Galaxy A53 is modeled on its younger brother and has around two days of use with 25 W fast charge compatibility.

The camera of the Samsung Galaxy A53 also has four sensors identical to those of the Galaxy A33 with one exception: the main sensor has 64 Mpx (therefore supported by an ultra wide angle, a portrait sensor and a macro sensor).

Finally, the power of the Samsung Galaxy A53 will be close to that of the Galaxy A33, since the smartphone is equipped with an Exynos 1280 processor compatible with 5G networks. The latter will be supported, depending on your choice of purchase, by 6 or 8 GB of RAM.

What prices for the Samsung Galaxy A33 and A53?

If there is one data often sought after concerning the Samsung Galaxy A33, A53 and A73, it is their price. This range of smartphones made by Samsung is intended to be much more affordable than the spearheads of the Samsung Galaxy S22 or even the brand’s foldable phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Regarding the prices of the next Galaxy A phones, they should be in a rather accessible price range. If no official price data is available, we prefer to give the prices charged for their predecessors (namely the Galaxy A32 and A52):

What is the expected release date for the Samsung Galaxy A33 and A53?

The new Samsung Galaxy A33 5G will be marketed in the coming weeks without further details. The Galaxy A53 5G will be marketed in France from 1er April 2022. Pre-orders are open on the latter from March 17 to 31, 2022.
