(Finance) – With the confirmation, by CO.VI.SOC., of theregistration of UC Sampdoria in the 2023/2024 Serie B championshipanother important element is added for the salvation of the company, which began with thespeech by Aser Capital Ltd and Gestio Capital Ltd by Andrea Radrizzani and Matteo Manfredi.

The starting point was theagreement with creditors and above all with SACE, which represents the first creditor of the company. Thanks to the support of SACE, the investors were able to finalize the operation, thus guaranteeing the continuity of the club.

An important part of the agreement with SACE is thecommitment of the new ownership to promote concrete initiatives on ESG issuesin support of the social fabric, in support of young people and the weakest social groups, as part of a path shared with SACE itself.

In line with the objectives of the restructuring agreement, free access to the sports facilities of UC Sampdoria will be guaranteed for minors belonging to low-income families and for people with disabilities, as well as sports events will be organized whose proceeds they will be donated to charity, as well as educational visits to schools in Genoa.
