Several world leaders, including EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell and French president Emmanuel Macron, condemn Israel’s military for firing on civilians in connection with an aid shipment reaching Gaza City.
But when the UN Security Council voted on a joint statement overnight, which would have blamed Israel for the events, the US blocked the vote.
