Sáminuorra makes tough demands on the government: “We are a people in Sweden”

During the weekend, the Sami youth association Sáminuorra held its 60th annual meeting and during the Sunday the Ábmu declaration was adopted, with five demands to the Swedish government.

– We are also a people in Sweden and we have to promote what is important to us, says union chairwoman Sara-Elvira Kuhmunen.

She continues:

– After we land after the annual meeting, we will see which routes are best to be able to work for this.
