Sami Välimäki is participating in the PGA golf tour competition in Jackson, USA.
The golf professional who last competed in the Paris Olympics Sami Välimäki returned from a two-month hiatus to the United States as the Men’s PGA Tour began in Jackson.
Välimäki played the opening round in Jackson two under par. He hit four birdies and two bogeys in the round.
Välimäki hit a bogey on the third hole when he started from the back of the field, but made up for his mistake with a birdie on the sixth hole. He improved his game after moving to the advantage where he hit three birdies. He also had one bogey at the back.
The first round in Jackson is over.
Välimäki finished 45th in the second Olympic Games of his career at the beginning of August in Paris.
