(Finance) – “The efficiency of the quality of air and rail transport obviously represents an absolute priority for the ministry and for the entire government. In relation to rail transport, the causes of the disservices are of different nature: the data provided by the manager , which take into account all causes of delay, record a punctuality of 74%, within 10 minutes for the Frecce trains, 82% within 15 minutes for the Intercity trains, 89% within 5 minutes for regional trains. Of these delays, those attributable to the network or to external causes such as strangers online, suicides and other exogenous factors account for an absolutely predominant share equal to 22% on the Frecce, 15.4 on the Intercity and 6.6 on the regional”. According to what the Energia Oltre agency writes, the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini said this during Question Time in the Senate.

“NEVER HAVE THERE BEEN SO MANY STRIKES AS AGAINST THIS GOVERNMENT”: AN AVERAGE OF 15 PER MONTH COMPARED TO RENZI’S 8
“In the 25 months of the government’s existence, 518 national and regional strikes were planned, of which 374 actually took place for an average of 15 strikes per month. Making a comparison with previous governments, this is the highest monthly average of the last seven governments. Highlight , for example, that during the 34 months of the Renzi government the unions were more distracted because there were 280 strikes for an average of 8, almost half of what it is today” Salvini added in a second round of responses. “Among those with the most impact as strikes, I would like to point out 57 national and interregional strikes carried out in the railway sector compared to the 71 proclaimed and 34 strikes in local public transport out of the 39 proclaimed, the majority of which took place on Monday and Friday – continued Salvini -: these are data that lead to a reflection on the reason for resorting to the fundamental institution for the protection of workers as well as its relative impact on users. THE TABLE PROVIDED BY THE PROTOCOL FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE SAFETY OF LOCAL REGIONAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT WORKERS HAS BEEN REACTIVATED
