[Mise à jour le 15 juin 2022 à 10h43] Notice to barbecue lovers! Trays of meat (beef, pork, sausage, merguez and mutton) are withdrawn from sale after the detection of salmonella. The Rappel Conso Gouv website has published the list of batches concerned and their points of sale (Carrefour, Leclerc, Intermarché, Cora etc), updated on June 15. The brands concerned: the French company Vallegrainduck merguez from the brand Les Thomasines and beef and mutton merguez Carrefour market. The products were notably sold in the departments of Eure, Eure-et-Loir, Loir-et-Cher, Orne, Seine-et-Marne, Essonne, Manche, Vendée… list of contaminated products.

- Onion-herb sausages (4 sausages) Vallegrain
- Skewer platter (4 plain chipo, 4 herb chipo, 2 pork merguez, 6 Provencal pork skewers) Vallegrain
- BBQ tray (8 plain chipo, 8 herb chipo, 8 pork merguez, 4 sliced breasts, 4 pork chops) Vallegrain

People who bought these products are invited to do not consume them and to them return to store for refund. Food infections caused by salmonella result in gastrointestinal disorders, diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal pain, often accompanied by fever. These symptoms can be severe in young children, immunocompromised individuals and the elderly. The incubation period can range from 6 to 72 hours.
