Tim Hortons at 1 Andrew St. is selling cookies until Sunday.
Library board members, including chair Kimberly Earls, trustee Carolyn Nordheimer, Norfolk councilor and former chair Adam Veri, and library CEO Julie Kent, kicked off the campaign in sweet style by decorating some cookies.
Their efforts symbolize the library’s commitment to youth initiatives and community connection, said Kent.
The Holiday Smile Cookie is a festive twist on the iconic original: a white chocolate sprinkle cookie topped with a white icing smile and eyes.
Fifty per cent of proceeds from cookie sales will support Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, while the other 50 per cent will directly benefit youth initiatives at the Norfolk County Public Library.
