Sales in New York prevail

New York Stock Exchange well set at the turning point

(Finance) – Weak session for the US stock market, which trades with a 0.63% drop on Dow Joneswhile, on the contrary, colorlessS&P-500which continues the session at 5,463 points, at the same levels as the day before. Almost unchanged the Nasdaq 100 (+0.11%); as well as, at the same levels as yesterday,S&P 100 (-0.01%).

Investors’ attention remains focused on US inflation, due out tomorrow, which could strengthen bets on the size of the Federal Reserve’s interest rate cut on September 18. Focus also on the TV debate today between Harris and Trump (at 9pm US).

The sectors that stand out in the S&P 500 basket are: secondary consumer goods (+0.72%) and utilities (+0.62%). At the bottom of the ranking, the biggest drops are seen in the sectors energy (-2.22%) and financial (-1.77%).

At the top of the rankings of American giants components of the Dow Jones, Amazon (+1.80%), United Health (+1.38%), Verizon Communication (+1.24%) and Wal-Mart (+1.23%).

The strongest sales, however, are seen on J.P. Morganwhich continues trading at -6.73%.

It goes down Goldman-Sachswith a decrease of 5.00%.

Under pressure American Expresswith a sharp decline of 3.54%.

He suffers Boeingwhich shows a loss of 2.73%.

On the podium of Nasdaq stocks, Broadcom (+3.11%), Constellation Energy (+2.12%), IDEXX Laboratories (+2.03%) and Tesla Motors (+1.84%).

The strongest sales, however, are seen on Diamondback Energywhich continues trading at -5.09%.

It collapses Warner Bros.Discoverywith a decrease of 5.00%.

Sales in full force on Dollar Treewhich suffers a decrease of 4.18%.

Prey of the sellers ON Semiconductorwith a decrease of 3.17%.
