The maritime and air rescue center was alerted just before 12 o’clock after a small sailing dinghy capsized on Hakefjorden outside Tjörn. Five people between the ages of 15 and 18 were on board and all ended up in the water.
– We were on the scene quickly and were able to help the people ashore, says Johan Ahlin, staff member at the Naval Air Rescue Centre.
The teenagers are said to have been shocked and cold, but no one is in need of medical attention.
– Everything is fine with them, but the boat is still there, says Johan Ahlin.
