According to VVN, the police are far too invisible for many road users. “We advocate more police enforcement because, according to many road users, the visibility of the police is lacking,” says Rob Stomphorst of VVN. “So we want more stops, more alcohol traps, more speed controls that are very consistent and more speed checks, especially on 80 km roads where things go wrong very often.”
