Restrictions on drinking water for around 800 residents in Bollebygd have now been lifted.
It was on December 17 that it was discovered that spaces for a water reservoir in Bollebygd were not locked. Around 800 affected residents were given restrictions on the use of the water and water tanks were placed.
Bollebygd municipality has now received the test results necessary to lift the restrictions on water use in Olsfors and Hultafors.
“The water can be used as usual again, which means that it can be drunk and used for cooking. We thank the affected municipality residents for their patience and understanding in this process,” the municipality writes in a press release.
