The heads of state of the East African Community met briefly on Tuesday evening to discuss the situation in eastern DRC. A summit shortened for technical reasons and which must continue in person this Saturday, November 4, 2023 in Luanda, Angola. The objective is to move forward with the deployment of the military force expected soon in the country (SAMIDRC) and which has been under discussion since May 8.
