SACE, Liguti at the helm of sustainability in Europe for the United Nations

Sace Latini An uphill restart of the Italian economy

(Finance) – From next 3 October Dario Liguti will be the new Director of Sustainable Energy at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.

Since March 2018 Liguti has held the role of Chief Underwriting and Business Innovation Officer of Sace. Previously Liguti, a graduate in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan and a Masters from the London School of Economics and Leicester University, spent 11 years in General Electricwhere he held positions of responsibility in the activities of Project Financing, Corporate Strategy & Business Development, Corporate Finance and Investment Banking, up to holding the position of Global Head of Government and Export Finance, managing the relations of General Electric with credit companies export and international financial institutions.

Previously he worked on the Council of Europe Development Bank and the European Commission. Much of his professional career took place abroad, between France, Switzerland, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
