“The revenue figure for the first half of 2023 reflects our expectations in the light of the Italian and international economic scenario – commented the chairman Luigi Wilmo Franceschetti and the CEO Luisa Franceschetti – The contraction in consumption, linked to rising inflationis impacting all the main economic sectors in which the company operates”.

“Analysing the composition of revenues, it is important to highlight that, the reduction in turnover is not matched by an equal reduction in volumeswhich remained almost stable: the significant reduction in raw material and transport costs, which was recorded during the first half of 2023, made it possible to apply a price reduction on some product families which consequently reduced, with the same volumes, the revenues figure, allowing however to maintain good levels of profitability”, they added.
