(Finance) – Saccheria F.lli Franceschettia company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and leader in Italy in industrial packaging in propylene raffia fabric, closes first nine months of 2024 with revenues equal to 13.3 million euros, substantially in line with the 13.5 million euros at 30 September 2023 thanks to a significantly recovering third quarter (+14% yoy).
The company acts as a substitute for collection on behalf of CONAIwhose revenues and costs in the income statement are cancelled: not considering the effect of this contribution, management revenues at 30 September stood at 13.2 million euros, compared to 13.4 million euros at 30 September 2023.
The revenues of main product categories (both marketed and manufactured) amount respectively to: “big bags” 10 million euros (10 million euros at 30 September 2023), “fertilizer bags” 0.9 million euros (vs 0.9 million), “small bags ” 1.3 million euros (vs 1 million).
“THE data relating to the third quarter confirm the positive signs already highlighted in June – commented Luigi Wilmo Franceschetti, president, and Luisa Franceschetti, CEO – Revenues show a strong recovery going from -18% yoy in the first quarter, to -7% yoy in the first half, to -1% yoy of the first 9 months. The performance of the e-commerce channel is noteworthy, showing growth of +20% as of 30 September. The progression of the 2024 turnover data was accompanied by the maintenance of a good level of margins”.
