Wahlroth notes that Kombispel repeatedly incurred serious customer complaints, and that they changed subcontractors several times. According to her, other clients, several telecommunications operators and electricity companies, who hired the same subcontractor, the telemarketing company Effective Communications, have not had any problems.
– Effective Communications has many large clients who have never had a problem with Effective. And then we have to ask ourselves the question, what is Kombispel doing that causes them to constantly have problems with their subcontractors? says Tina Wahlroth.
And a subcontractor cannot be blamed.
– Kombispels is responsible. It doesn’t matter whether you use a supplier or do it yourself, she says.
Can be contagious
Kontakta is a non-profit organization that represents companies in customer service and telephone sales on the Swedish market.
The fact that Effective Communications is not excluded from Kontakta is because the industry organization only has Swedish companies among its members.
The organization is concerned that Kombispel’s sales methods will infect the entire industry.
She has noted that the Left Leader Nooshi Dadgostar, in the wake of the S-lottery scandal, has suggested that telephone sales should be banned.
– But it is not the channel, the telephone, that is the problem, but the actor in the channel who acts either fraudulently or incorrectly, says Wahlroth.
The board can go
It was Dagens Nyheter that last week revealed that Kombispel used aggressive sales of S-lotteries, something that resulted in many complaints to, among other things, the Swedish Consumer Agency.
Since then, the Social Democrats have called on the board of Kombispel to resign and the CEO has been fired.
