S leader: Kristersson is too pleased

The Social Democrats want to see “very extensive additions” to welfare and that the general state grants to municipalities and regions are automatically added up every year.

Andersson also thinks that Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson appeared too satisfied when he read out his government statement.

“He should see the situation of ordinary households who are struggling with gasoline and diesel that have become more expensive, with rents that have been raised, with housing interest rates that are rising and with a more expensive sausage,” says the S leader.

— The risk when you are so satisfied is that you do not deal with the problems.

“Fighting Household”

Andersson also wants the government to “seriously get off the ground” in the fight against gang violence, which was promised before the election.

— We haven’t seen any of it.

Left party leader Nooshi Dadgostar believes the government is engaged in “fighting” households and families.

— They have stopped all proposals to slow down the price increases for food and mortgages.

Dadgostar also claims that the government’s policy leads to dramatic cuts in municipalities and regions, even though the government has not yet presented its entire budget.

The V leader believes that at least 30 billion more is needed in state subsidies for welfare.

“A mockery”

The Green Party’s spokesperson Märta Stenevi is critical of the tone of the government statement towards immigrants

— Perhaps a quarter was about how immigration has destroyed our country. I think it is a mockery when a prime minister who wants to be prime minister for the whole country speaks in such disparaging terms about such a large part of the population, she says.

Stenevi also points out that she “didn’t hear a sound” about the environment and incredibly little about the climate.

Center leader Muharrem Demirok lacked promises of enough money for the school.

— A thank you to the teachers is really nice, but where is the money?

Demirok fears that the government’s investments in municipalities and regions will be minimal and far less than what is needed.

The C leader also lacked clear information about how agriculture’s competitiveness is to be strengthened, about investments in infrastructure and about Sweden sending Gripenplan to Ukraine.
