Ryan Crouser set a world record in the shot put

Ryan Crouser is the reigning Olympic champion and world champion. He improved the ME in his own name in Los Angeles.

Ball mortar Ryan Crouser has set a world record. The American pushed the shot put in Los Angeles to a record 23.56. He is the only person in the world who has exceeded 23.5 meters. Crouser also had the previous record (23.37) to his name.

Crouser won the Los Angeles shot put competition by a clear margin, as the runner-up from New Zealand Tom Walsh recorded a result of 22.12 and the third place was pushed by the American Payton Otterdahl cost 21.99.

ME’s Crouser pushed the race in the fourth lap. He started the competition strongly with a result of 23.23 and in the second round he already broke the result with 23.31. The results of the first two rounds of the American giant are among the six longest pushes in the history of the sport.

– At this point, I still have a lot of practice during the season. I’ve been training with heavy weights, I haven’t really had time to focus on speed yet, the ME man acknowledged in an interview with NBC.

– I’m really excited. During the race I felt that I have a lot of power and I got one big arc.

The 30-year-old and 201-centimeter Crouser is the reigning Olympic shot put winner and world champion.

The two-time Olympic champion’s previous record was set in 2021 at the US Olympic qualifiers in Oregon. Before that, Randy Barnes’ ME 23.12 was valid for 31 years.
