The Haitian artist Hervé (RV) Lauture, former student of the National School of Arts (ENARTS) looks back on his career and his projects in Koze Kilti. With just over ten years making music, the musician and singer wants to redouble his efforts in order to give a better look to his career.
When he enrolled at the National School of the Arts (ENARTS), with the exception of his mother who supported him, Hervé Lauture at least shocked those around him who had not immediately understood that music is a wise choice in Haiti. But his passion had the upper hand and allowed him to hold on until the end despite the difficulties encountered on his way. In 2011, he launched his career inspired by and benefiting from the support of Samba Zao, a total Haitian artist.
If he is not one of the most popular Haitian artists, RV Lauture is nevertheless a very talented artist who tries his hand at several musical genres, from root music to “world music”. For the moment, he is working on his first album which will soon be released.
