According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia fired about a hundred missiles at Ukraine on Tuesday. The authorities have indeed talked about a wave of missile strikes.

– It is clear what the enemy wants. It will not achieve its goal, Zelenskyi said in a video broadcast.
Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, was attacked for the first time in almost a month. In addition to the capital, missile strikes were reported at least in Lviv and Kharkiv.
Chief of Staff of the President of Ukraine Andri Jermak said the attacks were carried out in response to Zelensky’s speech at the G20 meeting, in which he called on world leaders to pressure Russia to end its attacks.
“The situation in the capital is very difficult”
Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko according to the situation in the whole country after the missile strikes was critical.

In the capital, Kyiv, missile strikes hit two residential buildings. At least one person was said to have died in the attacks.
According to Kyiv mayor Klytško, at least half of the capital’s residents were without electricity on Tuesday evening.
– Due to the massive missile attack, the energy industry started emergency power cuts throughout Ukraine, Klytško said.
The occupation administration has left Nova Kahovka
The Russian occupation administration said on Tuesday that it had left the town of Nova Kahovka in southern Ukraine due to firing by Ukrainian troops.
Nova Kahovka, located on the east bank of the Dnieper River, is a strategically important city, as the North Crimean Canal originates from there, from which Crimea receives irrigation water for its agriculture.
Ukrainian forces captured the regionally important city of Kherson last week after Russian forces withdrew. According to Zelensky, Russia has destroyed all critical infrastructure in the city of Kherson.
The president said in his statement on Monday evening that the occupiers have deliberately destroyed, among other things, the electricity grid and communication links, and mined all significant places both in the city and in the entire region.
The British Ministry of Defense said in an intelligence report on Tuesday that Russia had made the port city of Henitshesk the “temporary capital” of the occupied territory after the withdrawal from Kherson.
