On February 24, Russian President Putin ordered his army to take military action against Ukraine. After this decision, many countries, especially the USA, decided to impose sanctions on Russia. After the embargoes implemented in Russia, they took a counter move and announced their retaliation. Finally, with the voting held in the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian Federal Assembly, it was decided that the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) would no longer be implemented in Russia.
