At the department store chain Motonet’s store in Villmanstrand near the Russian border, information has been posted in Russian about which goods are covered by the sanctions. This applies to paint and motor oil, among other things.
Some customers have been forced to return goods to the store after they were informed of the restrictions by border guards, writes the newspaper Taloussanomat.
Luxury products, whose value per product exceeds 300 euros, may also not be brought across the border into Russia. This includes, for example, clothing, household appliances, jewelery and electronics.
