In a statement regarding the meeting, Belarusian Defense Minister Hrenin stated that the West exerts ‘unprecedented pressure’ on Russia and Belarus and said, “The West is exerting unprecedented pressure on both the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation in all areas aimed at ensuring the national security of our countries. . Under these conditions, the Republic of Belarus is interested in further development of strategic alliance relations with the Russian Federation in the military field, through strengthening the obligations in our doctrinal documents and deepening bilateral interaction.
