In the Russian Rostov region near the border with Ukraine, the annual army forum is currently being held, where the public is offered, among other things, a cheering dance and where the military displays captured Ukrainian weapons.
This year, you can also sign up to participate in the so-called “Military special operation”, which is only a few miles away. The fact that many go to war but never return does not seem to scare the candidates.
– We have seen an increased interest in participating in the special military operation and many people come to our festival who are interested, says Sergei Ardashev who is a major in the Russian army.
