A Russian vessel capable of conducting underwater operations moved around explosion sites at Nord Stream five days before the 2022 sabotage, intercepted radio communications obtained by Mission Review show.
The vessel, a 49 meter long tug named SB-123, sailed out to the area near the sabotage sites from the Kaliningrad naval base and was there for 18 hours on 21-22/9. Halfway out, the tracking system shut down. Just over three months earlier, two other Russian “ghost ships” were at the sites for several hours with their systems shut down.
