The capital of Ukraine, Kiev, was subjected to a Russian air attack early Thursday morning. “Explosions in the city. The air defense is working,” wrote mayor Vitalij Klytchko.
A gas line was damaged by falling debris. It is unknown how many people were injured, but a nine-year-old girl and a woman who is around 18 are receiving treatment, according to Klytjko.
Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine was also attacked in the morning, according to regional governor Oleh Sinegubov. He states that civilian infrastructure was damaged in the attack.
