The school was a refuge for mainly older people in the city of Sudzja in the Ukrainian -controlled territory in the Russian region of Kursk. This is stated by Oleksij Dmytraskivsky, spokesperson for the Ukrainian military administration in Kursk, at Telegram.
It is the second time in two weeks that Dmytrasjivsky alerts about a Russian attack against a school in the city. In mid -January, a handful of people were injured.
Ukraine entered Russian Kursk in a surprisingly counter -offensive in August last year and controls part of the region.
