During yesterday evening, at least 22 people were injured in a Russian attack on the city of Dnipro. According to Governor Serhij Lysak, two buildings were destroyed in the attack. During the night, the rescue service worked to search for people who were trapped under the raging masses.
On Sunday morning, the governor announced that a child lost his life in the attack, reports Ukrainian Pravda.
“During the night, a girl’s body was taken from the racial masses in the community of Pidhorodne. She had just turned two. I offer my condolences to the relatives. 22 people were injured, five of them are children,” writes Serhij Lysak on Telegram during the morning.
New attacks on the capital
In total, ten houses, a car, a shop and gas lines were damaged during the attack on Dnipro.
“Russia shows once again that it is a terrorist state,” wrote President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a statement, according to The Guardian.
In Kiev, the Ukrainian defense has shot down Russian drones and robots during a new attack on the capital. According to a statement from the military administration, all attacks could be repelled.
“The air defense destroyed everything that was on the way to the city,” writes military leader Serhij Popko on social media on Sunday.
