Russia will not turn off the lights during Earth Hour because the organizer is a “foreign agent”

This year, the traditional Earth Hour event will not be observed in Russia. The reason may surprise you.

In Russia this year, the traditional WWF’s Earth Hour event, where the lights are turned off in different parts of the world for the protection of nature and the environment, will not be taken into account.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov according to the reason, the Russian WWF is classified as a “foreign agent”.

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia.

Earth Hour is tomorrow Saturday from 20:20 to 21:30.
