Russia warns what it will do if the West continues

The recent shipment of more sophisticated weapons to Ukraine by the West is beginning to elicit a response from the Russian side. The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrovhas warned that Moscow will push the front line further if military aid continues.

Lavrov has warned that “the greater the range of weapons that (Western countries) supply, the more we will move away from our territory the line from which the neo-Nazis can threaten the Russian Federation”.

In addition, the Russian Foreign Minister has stressed that The West ‘has no qualms’ about using ‘inappropriate’ methods to maintain pressure on Moscow, referring to the veto by Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Montenegro regarding the flight carrying Lavrov to Serbia.

USA has confirmed the delivery to kyiv of Himars multiple missile launcher systemswhile United Kingdom has done the same with M270 rocket launcher. According to Washington and London, Ukraine has promised not to use these weapons to attack Russian territory.

M270: a sophisticated rocket launcher sent by the United Kingdom

The M270 rocket launchers that the UK is to deliver to Ukraine have a 80 kilometer range Y “will significantly increase the capabilities of the Ukrainian forces”the British Ministry of Defense has specified.

Defense Secretary Ben Wallace has justified that “as Russia’s tactics change, our support for Ukraine must also change” and has stressed that these rocket launchers “will allow our Ukrainian friends better protect against the brutal use of long-range artillerywhich Putin’s forces have used indiscriminately to raze cities.”

However, there is a problem. The M270 are high-end weapons with great range and accuracy but are endowed with significant sophistication, making it essential that soldiers know how to use them. And, for the moment, Ukrainian troops do not have adequate training to extract the full potential that contain.
