According to Russia, a unit of the British navy was involved in planning and carrying out a “terrorist attack” against the Nord Stream pipelines, which the Kremlin claims to have learned about.
It was in the context of the British being accused of being involved in a drone attack on the Crimean Peninsula on Saturday morning that the Russian Ministry of Defense made accusations related to the Nord Stream leaks.
Since the leaks, Russia has accused Western countries of having carried out the deed in order to blame Russia.
