Zelenskiy, in a post on his social media account, stated that Russia had launched an intense missile attack on Ukraine, and that the cities of Dnipro, Kriviy Rig, Slovyansk and Kramatorsk, as well as Kiev, were targeted with more than 40 different types of missiles.
CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL DAMAGED
Sharing information that houses, infrastructure and the children’s hospital in the capital were damaged in the attacks, Zelenskiy stated that all emergency services were on duty in the places exposed to the attacks.
Kiev City Military Administration Head Sergey Popko also shared on his social media account that the air defense system was working in Kiev and that missile fragments had fallen in various districts of the capital as a result of Russian attacks.
Popko reported that some buildings and vehicles were damaged in the Solomen, Golosiyiv, Darnitsa and Svyatoshin districts where the missile fragments fell, and that the children’s hospital in the Shevchenko district was damaged.
17 PEOPLE KILLED IN THE ATTACKS
Popko shared the information that at least 7 people lost their lives and 25 people were injured in the attack in the capital.
On the other hand, the Chairman of the Kriviy Rig City Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, stated in his statement on his social media account that according to initial reports, 10 people lost their lives and 31 people were injured in Russia’s missile attack on the city.
