Russia has launched an Iranian imaging satellite from a rocket base in Vostochny – about 8,000 kilometers east of Moscow, according to state-controlled media in Iran.

– It is yet another sign of the deepening military cooperation between Iran and Russia, says US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller
