Spokesman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova said today, Wednesday, that the ban on the entry of cars with Russian license plates into the EU will not go unanswered.

According to him, the ban on the entry of Russian cars violates the “fundamental legal norms of the EU”.
Zaharova says that the EU is trying to make all Russians pay for the failure of the sanctions.
Finland banned the entry of Russian passenger cars on September 15. Cars with Russian license plates must be taken out of Finland by March 16, 2024.
The Finnish authorities do not have information on the number of Russian cars in Finland. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Norway have also banned the entry of Russian cars.
