In “the near future” a mass recruitment of at least 300,000 soldiers is planned to besiege Ukraine’s second largest city – Kharkiv.
The plan is to primarily recruit so-called reservists. But according to the information, even people who are about to finish their military service can be pressured to sign contracts with the Russian Armed Forces.
People who, for various reasons, did not serve as soldiers, study at military universities and women with a “military specialty” can all be considered, according to Verstka’s information.
There are also several signs that the Russian armed forces are in the process of sending out military personnel.
Will replace units that protect Russia
It is about new armor being manufactured, a new center for conscripts and that experts who “helped” at the muster offices during the mobilization in autumn 2022 have been called in again.
The plan is for the Russian units protecting Russian Belgorod and Kursk to be sent to Kharkiv, to be replaced by the soldiers being mobilized.
– Something is coming. Reservists are being recruited now, as before the mobilization. “Whether it will happen or not, I don’t know, but last time the procedure was the same,” a Russian officer who trains conscripts told Verstka.
“Persuaded by any means”
A source who is said to work close to Putin, says that the Russian military will try to recruit people who, according to their contracts, will be allowed to return home from the fighting.
Another source says they “will be persuaded by any means”
The fact that the Russian military plans to use many means to succeed in the mobilization is said to be because people who are willing to fight against Ukraine are dying out.
According to people described by Verstka as high-ranking sources, the ongoing preparations are called “mobilization 2.0”.
